Device for video decoding comprises: module for determining possible variants of internal prediction modes to determine possible variants of internal prediction modes including planar mode and internal prediction mode; module determining the mode of internal prediction, configured to parse the flag and most probable mode (MPM) that indicates whether one of the possible options of internal prediction modes to determine the mode of internal prediction of the current block, parse, index mode that specifies one of the possible options of internal prediction modes, and determining internal prediction mode of the current block by using index mode; and internal prediction module configured to perform internal prediction of the current block by using predetermined internal prediction mode.

EFFECT: technical result is to improve the efficiency of video decoding by reducing complexity of parsing.
