FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coated metal sheets for applications in structural materials for external use. Coated metal sheet comprises a metal sheet and an outer protective film disposed on this metal sheet, wherein, outer protective film comprising a gloss control agent that is particles having micropores and a matting agent that is primary particles. Content of gloss control agent in the outer protective film is from 0.2% by volume to 15 % by volume. Content of matting agent in the outer protective film is from 0.2 % by volume to 15 % by volume. Coated metal sheet satisfies the following conditions: D197.5/T≤0.7; Ru≤1.2T; R≥1.0; 2.0≤D297.5/T≤7.0; 13≤T≤20, where R (mcm) is the number average particle diameter of the gloss control agent, T (mcm) is the thickness of the outer protective film, D197.5 (mcm) is the particle diameter corresponding to 97.5 % of the amount of particles in the cumulative particle distribution over the size of the above-described gloss control agent, D97.5 (mcm) is the particle diameter corresponding to 97.5 % of the number of particles in the cumulative particle distribution over the size of the matting agent, and Ru (mcm) is the upper limit of the particle diameter in the numerical particle size distribution for the gloss control agent.
EFFECT: invention provides for creation of a coated metal sheet and a structural material for external use having the haze property not containing chromates, excellent corrosion resistance of the flat part, equivalent or higher than the corrosion resistance of coated metal sheets containing a chromated metal sheet.
