FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of chemistry and relates to a coated metal sheet for external use. Coated metal sheet includes a metal sheet and a top coating layer disposed on the metal sheet, configurable from fluororesin and containing a gloss control agent containing from 0.01 volume % to 15 volume % of microporous particles, and a matting agent containing primary particles. Metal sheet satisfies the following relations. D197.5/T ≤ 0.9; Ru ≤ 1.2T; R ≥ 1.0; 0.5 ≤ D297.5/T ≤ 7.0; 3 ≤ T ≤ 40, where R (mcm) is the number average particle diameter of the gloss control agent, T (mcm) is the thickness of the top coat layer, D197.5 and D297.5 are the 97.5 % particle size (mcm) of the gloss control agent and the matting agent, Ru is the upper limit of the particle size (mcm) of the gloss control agent.
EFFECT: proposed coated metal sheet and the outer building material have a constructive haze property, and even though not chromate-free, have excellent corrosion resistance of the flat part, equivalent to or higher than the corrosion resistance of coated metal sheets containing the chromated metal sheet.
