SUBSTANCE: invention relates to structural material for external use. It consists of coated metal sheet and outer protective film located on metal sheet. Upper coating film contains from 0.01 volume% to 15 volume% of porous particles as gloss control agent and coated metal sheet satisfies the following expressions: D_97.5/T≤0.7; Ru≤1.2T; R≥1.0; 5≤T≤20. In these expressions, R is a number of average particle diameter (mcm), D_97.5 is the diameter (mcm) of 97.5 % of particles, Ru is upper limit of particle diameter (mcm), and T is thickness (mcm) of upper coating film in numerical particle size distribution of gloss control agent.

EFFECT: invention provides creation of structural material for outdoor use that has intended design properties with adjustable gloss, and even without chromates having excellent corrosion resistance of flat part, equivalent or higher than corrosion resistance of coated metal sheets containing chromated metal sheet.
