FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of chemical current sources, namely to a method for producing catalysts with nanoscale platinum particles on carbon carriers for low temperature fuel cell electrodes (LFC), which consists in the fact that the process of electrochemical dispersion of platinum is carried out at an increased current density of 1.6–2.0 A/cm2.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increasing the power characteristics and stability of the catalyst during the operation of the fuel cell.
