SUBSTANCE: method for displaying the defibrillator operating state is performed using a defibrillator comprising a visual availability indicator for the medical device. External case of the defibrillator contains a chain of readiness status for automatic determination of the state of readiness for use. Visual indicator of the defibrillator is controlled by a chain of readiness status and is located on the body. Visual indicator contains a graphical icon indicating the state of unavailability for use, and a liquid crystal (LC) curtain overlapping the graphic icon. LC curtain contains a transparent icon indicating the state of readiness for use. Readiness state chain is configured to bring the portion LC of the shutter surrounding the transparent icon to an opaque state.
EFFECT: it is possible to achieve easily discernible states of readiness for use and unavailability for use.
