SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to method for recognition of defibrillator operating state, a monitoring device and a system for notification of the defibrillator state. Monitoring device comprises a substrate for location near the defibrillator, a fault indicator sensor and a power sensor, as well as a hardware processor and an output, associated with a processor for outputting a signal indicating a defibrillator operating state, and generating an output signal on the defibrillator failure state in response to recognition and second recognition steps. Fault indicator is located near the defibrillator malfunction indicator. Power supply sensor is located on the substrate near the defibrillator power supply indicator. Processor is located on the substrate and electrically connected to the sensors. Defibrillator Status Notification System comprises a defibrillator with a malfunction indicator output and a power supply indicator output, electronic monitoring device located outside the defibrillator near the fault indication output and the power supply indicator output, as well as a wireless transmitter for transmitting a defibrillator status report based on the signal function. Monitoring device is placed near the defibrillator. Absence of activation of fault indicator during specified period of time is recognized. Absence of activation of the power supply indicator for a given period of time, which corresponds to the planned time for activating the self-test of the defibrillator, is recognized. Defibrillator failure state output signal is generated in response to recognition and second recognition steps.

EFFECT: detection of defibrillator failure state in case of battery discharge.
