FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical microbiology. Proposed is a method of long-term storage of fastidious microorganisms, which provides for freezing of 18-24-hour cultures of microorganisms at a temperature of minus 80°C in a Signal blood culture system medium with addition of 30% glycerin.
EFFECT: method provides a high survival titre of fastidious microorganisms for a minimum of 2 years of storage.
