FIELD: astronautics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for cleaning near-Earth space (NES) from large-sized space debris (SD) objects. Method comprises the launching of a spacecraft into the area of orbits intended for their purification from large-scale objects of SD. Large-mesh network is used as an element of capture and deceleration of SD. Prior to launching the spacecraft with the network into orbit around the Earth, film electrets are placed on the network surface and they are electreted with the same positive or negative charge. On the surface of the network also deploy unfolding inflatable elements in the form of hollow multilayer hermetic shells. After the detection of the large-sized object SD, measuring the parameters of its movement relative to the spacecraft and approaching the space vehicle with the SD, the longitudinal axis of the container is pointed in the direction of the large-sized object SD and the large-mesh network is pushed out. Due to the pressure of the residual air in the internal cavity of the deploying inflatable elements, the network is deployed in space and given it a predetermined shape. Capture or coverage by a network of a large object SD and/or meshing of a network for protruding elements of a large-sized SD object takes place.

EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of cleaning of the NES from large-sized objects SD.
