FIELD: space flights.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to ensuring the safety of space flights. Variants of the method include launching a spacecraft (SC) into the region of orbits intended for their cleaning from large space debris objects. To capture and decelerate space debris objects, large-mesh nets with carbon nanotube (CNT) fibers are used, on which inflatable balloons made of a film with CNT fibers are fixed. On the surface of each net, deploying inflatable elements are placed in the form of hollow multilayer containment shells. One or more (in another version) space debris objects are detected and tracked using optical and/or laser and/or radar means of space control. Commands are transmitted to the SC via the radio link for approaching the SC with one (next) space debris object, and then the space debris object is captured by the network. At the signal of sensors that detect the mechanical connection of the network with the space debris objects, inflatable balloons are filled with gas and thereby ensure the transition of the space debris objects to a lower orbit with subsequent entry into the dense layers of the atmosphere.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of cleaning the near-Earth space from large-sized space debris objects, including unstabilized ones.
