FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, primarily to coal mining, and can be used to assess and predict the risk of methane and dust explosions in mines and gas-hazardous mines. Method for assessing the risk of methane and dust explosions in mines includes the allocation of sites with various mining and technological conditions, the experimental determination of the methane concentration in the mine air, measuring air consumption and dust content in the air, drilling control holes and measuring the initial velocity of gas evolution in the boreholes, recording cases of sulphurisation from cracks, holes and boreholes, inspection and revision of mine explosion-proof electrical equipment, sampling of coal and determination of the incubation period of spontaneous combustion and release of volatile substances, the formation of a rule base for fuzzy logic inference, the use of a software environment for performing fuzzy logical operations and determining the probability of an explosion. Risk of explosion of methane and dust is estimated taking into account the influence of the dust content in the air on the explosive conditions of methane-air mixtures.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the reliability of the risk assessment of methane and dust explosions in mines that develop reservoirs that are dangerous for sudden releases and methane blower emissions, as well as for the explosiveness of coal dust.
