SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of veterinary medicine, namely, a veterinary agent in the form of an ointment for the treatment of animal arachnoses: demodecosis, otodectosis, noctroids, sarcoptosis. Ointment contains, as an active ingredient, a previously unknown substance – B_1a avermectin ethyl succinate, as well as isopropyl alcohol, dimexidum, melanins of buckwheat plant, polyhexamethyleneguanidine (PHMG), lanolin and petrolatum at a certain ratio of components, mass %: avermectin ethyl succinate B_1a 0.08–0.15; isopropyl alcohol 8.0–9.0; dimexidum 4.0–7.0; buckwheat melanin 0.01–0.02; polyhexamethyleneguanidine 0.005–0.007; lanolin 20.0–24.0 and petrolatum up to 100.

EFFECT: invention provides a reduction in the timing of treatment of animal arachnoses due to the introduction of a new active ingredient in the avermectins – B_1a avermectin ethyl succinate.
