FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine and pharmacology, namely, to a medicinal product for treating kidney stone disease of small pets. A medicinal product for treating kidney stone disease of small pets, containing plant-based components exhibiting salt-removing, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, characterised by containing buckwheat melanins as a plant component and additionally lactic and propionic acids, at the following ratios of components, wt.%: buckwheat melanins 0.01 to 0.05; lactic acid 0.65 to 0.80; propionic acid 0.55 to 0.70; water up to 100.
EFFECT: above composition is effective for treating kidney stone disease of small pets, provides high therapeutic effectiveness in canine and feline urolithiasis.
