FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely gastroenterology, and can be used to treat irritable bowel syndrome. For this, to feces obtained from a healthy donor in an amount of not less than 100 g, add a sterile physiological solution at a temperature of 20–22 °C in an amount of 400–500 ml, stir and crush the mixture for 3–4 minutes to a dispersed homogeneous state, and filter the homogenate. Then inject the patient with a fecal microbiota filtrate through the colonoscope operating channel with a syringe during the ascending colon, beginning from the dome of the cecum to the hepatic angle in small portions of 50–100 ml of the drug parietally.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the effectiveness of treatment of irritable bowel syndrome in the absence of side effects and a decrease in the frequency of relapses of the disease.
