FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular pediatrics and infectious diseases, and can be used for the treatment of convalescents of acute intestinal infections of childhood, which formed post-infectious functional diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (GIT FD) in the follow-up. The method is carried out by the combined use of an auto-probiotic strain of Enterococcus faecium, psychotherapy and diet therapy, while additionally a scatological study is carried out. In the absence of leukocytes, erythrocytes, an abundance of mucus, children over 3 years of age are orally prescribed an autoprobiotic strain of Enterococcus faecium in the form of a starter culture based on soy protein isolates with a titer of 109 colony-forming units in 1 ml for 14 days, 25 ml 2 times a day 1 hour after the morning and daily meals.
EFFECT: use of autoprobiotic strains of Enterococcus faecium in the complex therapy of GIT FD, along with a positive clinical result, provides a significant decrease in the frequency of allocation of opportunistic bacteria in the intestinal microbiota, reflecting the severity of intestinal dysbiosis, which provokes and maintains the clinical manifestation of the disease.
