FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to radiation diagnosis, anesthesiology and resuscitation, and can be used to visualize the subcutaneous veins of the extremities in the treatment of thrombophlebitis. Method comprises the steps of: patient laying, mechanical influence in the form of circular compression until the outflow of blood from the study site, subsequent cessation of mechanical compression and the recording of the infrared radiation by the infrared imager from the surface under investigation, formation of the first difference of thermal imaging images obtained at the time of maximum thermal contrast of veins and the termination of mechanical action, and subsequent normalization of the image. Infrared radiation from the investigated surface is recorded by the infrared imager from the moment of the beginning of the mechanical action. During registration, the interframe difference in thermal imaging images is continuously formed until the moment of maximum thermal contrast of the veins. In addition, prior to normalization, a second difference of the thermal imaging images obtained at the moments of the beginning and the end of the mechanical action is formed. Output image is formed by subtracting the second image difference from the first, zeroing the image points for which at least one value of the interframe thermal image difference is positive at the mechanical impact stage, or for which at least one value of the interframe difference of the thermal imaging images is negative after the mechanical action, as well as subsequent normalization.
EFFECT: invention allows to eliminate uncomfortable conditions for the patient.
