SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to cardiovascular therapy. Multiple circular external radiofrequency action on the adventitia of renal arteries at the point of origin of the artery from the aorta is performed. Action is carried out under visual control, bringing the working end of the surgical instrument directly to the outer surface of the vessel.
EFFECT: method provides a long-term decrease in systemic arterial pressure in essential hypertension, reduced need for multicomponent drug therapy, reduced traumatization of the entire thickness of the vascular wall.
