FIELD: hydraulic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering and can be used to annihilate a water flow in end devices of closed pipelines and tunnel culverts. Annihilator of energy comprises coaxially disposed chamber 1 with annular partition 2 and vertical branch pipe 3 connected to conduit 4. Vertical chamber 1 is made in the form of a closed cup. Vertical branch pipe 3 is made of two sections 5 and 6. In the upper part of section 5, there is fairing 7 and branch pipes 9 installed tangentially with respect to vertical branch pipe 3. Bypass windows 12 are installed perpendicular to the axis of branch pipe 3. Vertical chamber 1 in the upper part is provided with an outlet arranged at a level coinciding with the bottom level of discharge chute 13, the bottom of which is connected to discharge pipe 15 with control valve 16. Bottom of chamber 1 is provided with discharge pipe 17 for draining water or possible removal of accumulated small deposits.
EFFECT: technical result is increased efficiency and distribution of specific flow along the width of the annihilator, reduced near-bottom velocities in the flow, and simplified design.
