FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: power damper relates to hydraulic engineering and can be used for water flow damping in end devices of closed pipelines and tunnel water-passage structures. Energy damper comprises water conduit 1, vertical well 2 and has clamp 4 in form of round nozzle. Damping chamber 5 is installed in upper part of well 2. Annular horizontal flange 10 with annular clearance is fixed in quenching chamber 5 above turbine 6 with an annular gap above turbine 6. Turbine 6 is made of propellers with possibility of rotation relative to its axis and is attached to vertical mechanism 8 of change of clearance above clamp 4 axis of well 2, mechanism 8 of which is fixed to cover 11 of well. Vertical well 2 in upper part is equipped with outlet hole 13 arranged at level coinciding with mark of bottom of outlet chute 12, bottom of which is connected with outlet pipeline 14 with control valve 15. Well bottom 2 is equipped with discharge pipeline 16 for water discharge or possible removal of accumulated small deposits.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of dissipating discharge of water into a damping chamber with an annular horizontal flange with a gap, simplifying the design and reducing bottom flow rates in the flow.
