SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to endoscopic surgery and X-ray surgery, and concerns the stopping of ulcerative gastroduodenal bleeding. Method comprises percutaneous transcatheter arterial embolization of the inflow vessels after the establishment of a bleeding source. In patients with relapse of ulcerative gastroduodenal bleeding, the source of bleeding is established with celiacography and upper mesentericography for extravasation of the contrasting water-soluble substance. Embolization is then performed using a formulation comprising 1 part of an oil-soluble contrast medium and 3 parts of autologous fat emboli. Latter are extracted from the middle layer of aspirated subcutaneous fat after centrifugation for 10 minutes 15 seconds at a speed of 600 rpm. For embolization of a single inflow vessel, 2.0 ml of an embolizing formulation is used, which is administered at a distance of no more than 2.0 cm from the visualized extravasation.

EFFECT: method provides an effective stopping of ulcerative gastroduodenal bleeding.
