FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a process for the preparation of a hydrotreating catalyst for petroleum fractions by impregnating a calcined alumina support with an aqueous solution of phosphate complexes with active ingredients Mo and Ni or Mo and Co. Active components are stabilized with a mixture of citric and oxalic acid, followed by drying the catalyst.
EFFECT: increase in the activity of the catalyst and simplification of the process for the preparation of a catalyst for hydrotreating petroleum fractions.
