FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for transmitting electricity by high and ultrahigh voltage direct current. Frequency control method on the invertor side of the system for transmitting electricity by high/ultrahigh voltage direct current includes: transmitting a deviation value of the electric network frequency on the inverter side from the nominal frequency to the frequency controller on the inverter side, at which the frequency controller adjusts and outputs a modulation value using self-adjustable parameters depending on different operating conditions; at normal inter-station communication, the output value of the modulation of the frequency controller on the inverter side promotes the formation of a new command for supplying power/current on the rectifier side and on the inverter side by inter-station communication, thus providing frequency control on the inverter side by changing the amount of transmission power; conversion of voltage control to current control on the inverter side and conversion of current control to voltage control on the rectifier side in the event of inter-station communication failure; applying the output value of the modulation of the frequency controller on the inverter side to the command for supplying power/current on the inverter side; providing frequency control on the inverter side by changing the amount of transmission power.
EFFECT: technical result is the performance of the function of fast and effective frequency control on the inverter side and effective frequency control on the inverter side in the event of inter-station communication failure.
