FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to cardiology, rehabilitation, ultrasound diagnosis and therapy, and relates to method for predicting the risk of developing an unfavorable remodeling of the left ventricle of the heart in patients with acute anterior myocardial infarction with ST-segment elevation within 6 months from the onset of the disease. Essence of the method: in patients with acute myocardial infarction, the serum content of the soluble form of the stimulating growth factor-sST2 is determined in the first day. If the sST2 level is detected more than 40 ng/ml, the risk of unfavorable remodeling of the left ventricle is assessed as high. Proposed method allows to identify with sufficient accuracy a group of high risk of developing unfavorable LV remodeling in patients with acute myocardial infarction for dispensary follow-up, to assess the personal risk of LV remodeling progression and the possibility of CHF development in patients after acute anterior myocardial infarction with ST-segment elevation still at an early stage of disease manifestation and timely correct treatment tactics.
EFFECT: invention provides an increase in accuracy of prognosis of the course of the disease, allows assessing personal risk and prescribe appropriate pathogenetic preventive therapy aimed at inhibiting the activity of this marker.
