FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to agriculture. Spherical fertilizer granule, the specific gravity of which is more than 1.94 g/cm2, and the porosity is less than 3 %. Method for producing spherical fertilizer granules comprises mixing a pulverized fertilizer where the size of more than 20 % of the particles of said dust is less than 150 mcm, compressing said fertilizer at a temperature of from 25 to 200 °C and soft crushing to produce more than 85 % spherical pellets.
EFFECT: inventions make it possible to reduce the formation of dust during the transportation of the fertilizer, to reduce the caking effect and, consequently, to reduce the release of dust into the environment, maintain high fertilizer quality, ensure optimum fertilizer homogeneity, control possible segregation of product particles, and reduce costs associated with fertilizer production.
