FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to agriculture. Method of producing potassium sulphate granules for use as fertilizer, characterized in that potassium sulphate during granulation is added with potassium chloride in amount of 1.8–4.5 wt. %, based on the potassium sulphate used, wherein the compaction is carried out as agglomeration by pressing. Potassium sulphate granulate is used as fertilizer. Disclosed is use of potassium chloride to improve mechanical properties of potassium sulphate granulate used as a fertilizer, in particular, to increase resistance to breakdown and/or to increase resistance to abrasion.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain granules characterized by high mechanical resistance, low degree of dust formation and good moisture resistance.
