SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, particularly to a clinical decision support system. Workstation comprises a system enables to implement a method comprising: associating a set of clinical preconditions and clinical recommendations with a node of a clinical guideline including a plurality of nodes, associating a pair of a clinical question and a corresponding clinical answer with the node. Said pair forms an extension of the clinical guideline. Method then comprises determining a relevant node of the plurality of nodes, based on a condition of a specific patient and the set of clinical preconditions of the relevant node. Method then comprises presenting at least a part of the pair of the question and/or the corresponding answer associated with the relevant node. Incoming clinical question is then received. It is determined whether there is an agreement between the incoming clinical question and the question from the set of existing questions that were previously answered. And if an agreement exists, a clinical answer is presented, which corresponds to a comparable question from the set of existing questions. If agreement does not exist, a clinical answer that corresponds to the incoming clinical question is taken from an expert. Information carrier serves to support clinical decision-making, store a computer program containing instructions for instructing the processor system to perform said method.
