SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to the metallurgical melting vessel charging with metal scrap. Device includes container for scrap metal reception for its transportation to the melting plant on the front side having the discharge port for scrap metal unloading, leading to the melting vessel loading opening guiding system for the transportation slides mounted on the guide system with possibility of movement from the initial position (A) to the loading position (B), made with possibility to be pushed onto them and removal of container, located on the transport slides and on the container, coming into engagement with each other with the container appearance stationary stop members to prevent the container from slipping, tipping device, which is mounted on the swing mount with possibility of turning about the turning axis on the guide system passing transverse to the guide system longitudinal direction and has at least one locking device for establishing of the detachable connection with the geometrical closure by engagement with at least one counter element located on the container.

EFFECT: invention allows to reduce the scrap metal loading time into the melting plant by reducing the container with the scrap metal loading cycle duration.
