FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of optics, in particular to contact lenses. Lens comprises a lens shell including a front layer and a back layer, a front conductive electrode disposed within the lens shell and across the central region of the lens shell, a rear conductive electrode disposed within the lens shell and across the central region, an accommodation actuator element disposed between the first and second conductive electrodes in the central region and an annular substrate arranged around the central region. Moreover, the front and rear conductive electrodes are transparent and electrically controls the element of the accommodation mechanism. Front conductive electrode includes a front connection terminal extending beyond the central region and in contact with the front pad on the annular substrate. Back conductive electrode includes a rear connection terminal extending beyond the central region and in contact with the rear pad on the annular substrate.
EFFECT: flexible conductor is provided for use within the contact lens.
