FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fractionation systems for the dehydrogenation of short chain saturated hydrocarbons to produce corresponding olefins, in particular propylene widely used in consumer and industrial products. Fractionation system comprises a rectifying column 400 having a raw material inlet between the upper and lower tray, inlet for irrigation at the level of the top plate, inlet for the fluid at the level of the bottom plate, the yield for the head product at the level of the first plate and the yield for the bottom product at the level of the bottom plate; a side reboiler 425 of the rectifying column in communication with the rectifying column 400; a stripping column 405 having an inlet for fluid at the level of the upper tray, the yield for the head product at the level of the top tray and the yield for the bottom product at the level of the bottom plate, the outlet for the bottoms product of the rectifying column 400 is in fluid communication with the fluid inlet of the stripping column 405, the outlet for the head product of stripping column 405 is in fluid communication with the fluid inlet of rectifying column 400; a stripping column reboiler 455 in communication with the stripping column 405; and the rectifying column 400 and stripping column 405 are in a single vessel having a constant diameter, the rectifying column 400 being located above the stripping column 405.

EFFECT: such a design reduces capital and operating costs and simplifies the regulation and implementation of the fractionation process through a single irrigation line instead of two.
