FIELD: photo printing.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a compound of formula (I), which is a colour developer. In formula (I), R and R1 are independently selected from the group consisting of R11O-R12-, where R11 and R12 are independently linear or branched C1-C 8-alkyl, and a radical of formula (II). In formula (II), R2, R3, R4, R5 and R6 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, linear or branched C1-C8-alkyl, -NH-C(=O)-R14, -C(=O)-NH-R14, where R14 is linear or branched C1-C 8-alkyl, -C(=O)OR15, where R15 is linear or branched C1 -C8-alkyl and halogen, or R2 and R3 or R4 and R5, or both of them, or R3 and R4 or R5 and R6, or both of them, or R2 and R3, as well as R5 and R6 together form a hydrocarbon diradical containing 3 or 4 carbon atoms; Q represents a single bond or a branched or non-branched C1 -C8-alkylene, optionally containing one or more oxygen atoms. The invention is also related to a method for producing a compound of formula (I) and a thermosensitive recording material containing it.
EFFECT: invention can use as a component in a heat-sensitive recording material used for thermographic printing.
