SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the video camera view pollution preventing method and device for its implementation. Video camera view pollution preventing method is, that detecting pollution in the video camera viewing area visually or by means of the optical or software parametric pollution or speed sensor, or rain sensor, then manually or automatically using the sensor signals, activating the protective cover rotating device, replacing the contaminated element with the beforehand cleaned element. Transparent casing element cleaning is carried out in the cleaning zone using the moving or stationary scrapers or brushes, or injectors with liquids or gases, or any combination thereof. In the presence of residual contamination manually or automatically by the sensors or software signal, re-activating the device to continue the protective cover rotation, as well as its cleaning in the cleaning zone. Device is a mechanism that allows, if necessary, to replace some of the contaminated transparent protective cover located in the video camera viewing area, with the part of the cover having the sufficient cleanliness to maintain the video camera viewing quality. After the change, a part of the cover, which was in the video camera viewing area and having contamination, undergoes a cleaning, after which this part of the cover surface is again ready to move into the video camera viewing area, replacing the contaminated section.

EFFECT: enabling prevention of the video camera viewing contamination and improving the road safety.
