FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of machine building, and more particularly to wave rack-and-pinion drives. Wave rack-and-pinion drive contains housing with guide grooves, movable rack rail and rack transportation device. Rack transportation device includes shaft and elements interacting with the rack teeth, installed in the housing and resiliently coupled with it. Shaft has the sinusoidal profile helical surface, at that, the interacting with the rack teeth elements are made in the form of located in the housing guide grooves pins, interacting with the shaft helical surface and joined by plates. In the housing and plates there are holes for the pins, wherein the holes and pins conjugated surfaces are made spherical.

EFFECT: higher reliability is achieved.
