SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used for treatment of transverse flatfoot. First – non-fixed stage corrects the transverse arch of the foot, restores the tone of the stretched ligaments and interosseous muscles and normalizes the distribution of the support load to the forefoot, for which the lateral arch of the foot is modeled by the manipulation, heads 1 and 5 of metatarsal bones are lowered and metatarsal heads 2, 3 and 4 are raised up to the position of hypercorrection, then at the level of heads 2, 3 and 4 of metatarsal bones under the formed transverse arch of the foot a reclining cylinder is installed, which is fixed on the foot by an elastic cuff and holds the formed skeleton of the transverse arch of the foot without a supporting load during the dosed time period, gradually increasing its duration from 1 hour to 7–8 hours. Second stage is prevention of relapse of deformation and retention of the formed skeleton of the transverse arch of the foot in the correction position with the reference load walking, for which an armored reclining half-cylinder is rigidly attached to the orthopedic insole under heads 2, 3 and 4 of metatarsal bones and fix the insole with the recycling half cylinder to the foot using an elastic cuff. Both stages of correction are repeated every day.

EFFECT: method helps prevent deformation relapse.
