FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of engine building, namely to engines with external heat input. Essence of the invention lies in the fact that the Stirling engine comprises a body, a displacer and a working piston configured to reciprocate relative to each other. Working part (1) is adjacent to the propellant to absorb heat and is surrounded by a copper (or aluminum) block (14, 20). Essential part of the block is a lining made of layer (18) of stainless steel or Inconel with a thickness between 3 mm and 0.15 mm.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the efficiency of heat transfer.
