SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine and is represented by a system and a method for collecting and managing incontinence data. System includes a data recorder that is removably attached to or adjacent to an absorbent article. System also includes a data link between the data logger and the data collection concentrator. And the data transmission channel is made in the form of a cellular telephone network. System includes a user interface to enable the operator to access the data collection concentrator from a remote location. Data logger is capable of continuously recording data and transmitting a data packet to a data collection concentrator over a cellular telephone network at predetermined intervals. Data packet includes a unique device identifier for the data logger. Data logger is marked with a visual identifier to identify the data logger. Data collection concentrator is configured to identify and organize data received from a particular data logger. Data collection concentrator includes a matching means for mapping the visual identifier of the data logger to the unique device identifier of the data logger. Visual identifier is placed with the ability to be visible on the data logger shell and it is shorter than the unique identifier.

EFFECT: group of inventions allows efficient and accurate management of incontinence data with the ability to access and manipulate them at any time by using a visual identifier that is visible on the data logger's shell and is shorter than the unique identifier of the device, and also due to the data logger, which is capable of continuously registering and storing data.
