SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a head restraint assembly for a vehicle seat and relates to a retractable headrest having an adjustable closing assembly. In the method, the headrest assembly comprises a headrest cushion mounted to be adjustable with a lever system, a closing assembly, having a first member connected to the lever system and a second member connected to the first member. Wherein the first element is telescopically located in the second element. Also, the headrest assembly includes a gap defined and maintained between the first and second members when the closing assembly moves between the folded and deployed positions when actuated by the lever system.
EFFECT: it is possible to hide the telescopic components of the headrest assembly.
