Invention also relates to a method for preventing or treating infections caused by Shiga toxin producing F18 type E. coli, using a composition containing said bacteriophage as an active ingredient.

EFFECT: inventions allows using the claimed bacteriophage which is capable of specifically killing strains of Shiga toxin producing F18 type Escherichia coli, and can be used in the medical industry.
