SUBSTANCE: proposed is a strain of Escherichia coli bacteria O26:H11, producer of a shiga-like toxin, deposited in the State Collection of Pathogenic Microorganisms and Cell Cultures "SCPM-Obolensk" under number B-8034.

EFFECT: described strain can be used as a control test strain for detection of E. coli of the serological variant O26:H11, virulence genes stx1 and stx1a (type 1), and comparative study of the relatedness of strains of this serological variant.
