FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pressure metal treatment and can be used for sheet metal bending. Bending assembly (2) of the bending machine is provided with a tool holder crosspiece which supports a set of bending tools which are aligned, and mutually positionable, along a first longitudinal direction so as to form predetermined compositions of bending tools suitable to bend a workpiece according to bending lines. Bending assembly comprises moving means to move the bending tools along the crosspiece. Wherein the set of bending tools comprises, arranged adjacent and in sequence starting from an end of said crosspiece, bending tools of different width. There is also a further set of basic bending tools, wherein the width is 30 to 70 mm, and a step between two lengths of subsequent tool compositions is 5 to 20 mm.

EFFECT: technological possibilities of the bending machine are wider due to the possibility of bending all lengths.
