METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTINUOUS MONITORING OF WEAR AND PRESSURE IN CENTRIFUGAL SEPARATORS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC B03B5/32 B03B7/00 B04B13/00

Abstract RU 2663164 C1

FIELD: defectoscopy.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a system for monitoring wear and/or pressure in centrifugal gravitational concentrators and a unit for continuous monitoring of wear and/or pressure in centrifugal gravitational concentrators. System of continuous monitoring of wear and/or pressure in centrifugal gravitational concentrators contains a centrifugal gravitational concentrator designed with possibility to enrich minerals from the pulp having a unit containing a cone, housing of the rotor body and a water jacket located between them, at least one detector mounted in at least a cone or casing of the rotor body, or a water jacket, and at least one sensor mounted on the centrifugal gravity concentrator and designed with possibility to communicate with at least one detector during operation of the centrifugal gravitational concentrator. At the same time, during operation, the wear or change in local pressure ultimately affects the functioning of at least one detector and at least one sensor is designed with possibility, by maintaining communication with at least one detector, to monitor the operation of at least one detector and determine the operating state of the corresponding cone, the housing of the rotor body or the water jacket provided with at least one detector. Unit for continuous monitoring of wear and/or pressure in centrifugal gravitational concentrators includes a cone and a casing of the rotor body, designed with possibility to use in a centrifugal gravitational concentrator for the enrichment of minerals from the pulp, cone and the housing of the rotor body are designed with possibility to form, in the assembled state, a water jacket, and at least one detector mounted in the cone or housing of the rotor body and configured to communicate with at least one sensor via a signal during operation of the centrifugal gravitational concentrator. In this case, wear or change in local pressure during operation ultimately affects the functioning of at least one detector, and at least one sensor, by communicating with at least one detector, can provide, during operation, monitoring the operation of at least one detector, and at least one sensor can monitor and determine the operational status of at least one detector during operation.

EFFECT: increase in productivity, service life and efficiency of a centrifugal gravity separator.
