FIELD: mineral processing.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to devices intended for concentration of minerals, and can be used for separation of solid particles by density, namely for processing of gold-containing ores and fine sands, as well as copper-nickel ores, which are not amenable to magnetic separation. Modular concentration bowl of centrifugal concentrator consists of interconnected upper and lower parts, wherein the upper part of the bowl has an internal frame containing projections and cavities between the projections, note here that inner carcass with ledges and cavities between said ledges is coated with wear-resistant material to make working surface of concentration bowl. At least two ledges coated with wear-resistant material are of sinusoidal shape. Note here that sinusoidal ledges are arranged so that maximum of one ledge is located opposite that of other ledge.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of gravity separation of the processed material, longer life of concentration bowl, its better reparability.
