SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an apparatus for controlling an electrical appliance in an electrical wiring system and/or connecting an electrical appliance external to the electrical wiring system. Device comprises a working part configured to open/close the electrical contact and/or receive a connector of an electrical appliance external to the electrical wiring system, an input port configured to receive at least one electric wire, a conductive terminal, elastic blocking element and actuating lever. Locking element comprises an operable part that is resiliently connected to the conductive terminal and which can be acted upon by the actuating lever and a blocking portion in which the passage opening is created. Edge of the opening is configured to block the wire. Locking portion comprises a guide end that is inclined toward the inlet and is located opposite this opening.
EFFECT: ensured fast and reliable connection of an electrical appliance in the electrical wiring system.
