FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for investigating unconventional reservoirs aimed at solving problems of safety of core material and minimizing technological disturbances. Method provides the express determination of strength of a full-length core selected by an isolated technology, without removing it from plastic pipes, through drilled holes in a side wall of the pipe. Holes in pipes are sealed with removable rubber plugs.
EFFECT: increasing the safety of core material and minimizing technogenic disruptions when working with unconventional reservoirs at the drilling site during the core preparation stage for transportation, as well as directly in the implementation of core research on core material in petrophysical laboratories, taking into account the possibility of rapid determination of the strength of a full-length core, selected by the isolated technology, without removing it from fiberglass pipes.
