FIELD: sampling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for sampling a full-sized, low-cemented core. Described method makes it possible to select core samples of the correct cylindrical shape while maintaining their original structure and meeting the requirements for samples selected for studying the petrophysical characteristics of rocks. Structural features of the device make it possible to use a hollow cylindrical crown with a chamber for placing a thin-walled cuff of a cylindrical shape and a system for adjusting the position of the cylindrical crown in height with respect to the full-length core. Cuff serves as an external containment shell of a weakly cemented specimen, which makes it possible to ensure its integrity during the manufacture and conduct of petrophysical studies.
EFFECT: expansion of the methods used for sampling for petrophysical studies of rocks.
