FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Ophthalmic video probe contains a handle; a cannula attached to the handle; an optical fiber located at least partially within the handle and cannula; and an actuating drive system configured to transmit the motion to the optical fiber. Optical fiber is configured to receive the image forming light beam from the light source forming the image and the direction of the light beam forming the image to the optical element located inside the distal part of the cannula. Actuating drive system comprises a plurality of electrodes disposed within the cannula, wherein each electrode is configured to transmit movement to the optical fiber by selectively transmitting an electric charge to at least one of: an electrode and an electroconductive layer of an optical fiber, each electrode extending longitudinally along the cannula, repeating the shape of the cannula, and also extending in a curved form around a portion of the inner perimeter of the cannula. Ophthalmologic imaging system comprises a light source generating an image configured to form a light beam forming the image; optical fiber in optical communication with the source of the light beam forming the image, wherein the light guide is adapted to receive the generated light beam forming the image from the light source forming the image; and a probe in optical communication with the optical fiber.
