FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to data processing, namely to a method for controlling the humanoid robot state in standby mode. Method comprises measuring at least one of the parameters associated with one or more parts of the humanoid robot, wherein the parameter is selected from the group consisting of a motor temperature measure, electricity consumption value, value quantifying signs of wear. At least one of the standby optimization rules associated with said parameters is received, wherein the standby optimization rule is selected from the group consisting of rules for maximizing the heat dissipation of one or more robot engines, minimizing energy consumption, minimizing the wear of one or more parts of the robot. One or more received standby optimization rules is executed.
EFFECT: invention minimizes energy consumption and wear.
