FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of methane from methane-coal deposits. According to this method, position of sole of gas weathering zone is determined. Separate gas-bearing coal seams below gas weathering zone with gas content of more than 10 m3/t. These layers are divided into groups. First group includes beds having thickness of more than 1 m and permeability of more than 1 mD. Second group includes strata with capacity of more than 3 m with permeability of less than 1 mD. Layers of the first group are opened with vertical wells. Layers of second group are opened by wells traversed along formation. Operation of the first and second groups is conducted simultaneously through wells.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in efficiency of methane extraction due to possibility of simultaneous exploitation of methane-coal beds of field.
