FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to structures and methods for manufacturing diaphragm vacuum pumps with an electric drive. Pump contains a single-stage or multi-stage diaphragm pump driven by an electric motor. Pump and the open-body electric motor are installed in a common drawn body with internal ribs, to which a stator of the motor is fixed with a tight fit. Common body is a metal profile, closed in a cross-sectional cross section. Dimensions of the ribs in section are not less than 2x2 mm. Due to the multiplicity of the body mounting locations to the massive stator and other components and/or due to the stressed state of the body, noise from the pump is reduced.
EFFECT: method for manufacturing it, simplifying the assembly, is proposed.
