FIELD: chemistry; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method for increasing the activity and efficiency of a catalyst for low-temperature isomerization of paraffins C4-C6, consisting of platinum and chlorine on the support of this-alumina, prepared by impregnating the support with an aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid and chloroplatinic acid, re-calcination, reduction and chlorination by organochlorine compound in the gas phase. Platinum is applied to a carrier calcined in the temperature range from 530–550 °C with a granule size of 1.2–1.6 mm.
EFFECT: high dispersion of platinum of the obtained catalyst, which provides increased activity and stability in the isomerization of paraffins C4-C6.
