FIELD: electromagnetic testing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electromagnetic testing of lighting systems of motor vehicles (MV) with the function of automatically changing the parameters of light radiation when the external illumination changes to the influence of high-frequency EMF. The automatic telephone exchange is installed in the test chamber and oriented relative to the field-forming system. During testing, simulators of daylight and twilight lighting located in the chamber are used. During the period of exposure to external EMF with specified parameters, the chamber alternately simulates twilight and daylight lighting. In the process of simulating changes in illumination, the vehicle monitors changes in the parameters of its lighting system and their compliance with the automatic control algorithms embedded in the system. Monitoring of the functioning of the lighting system is carried out using a video surveillance camera and/or noise-resistant lighting measuring instruments.
EFFECT: ability to test the MV lighting systems with the function of automatic change of the parameters of light radiation for resistance to the effects of external high-frequency EMF when the external illumination changes.
